On Friday, February 27th, 2026, Camping Zeeburg will host a special evening of stargazing! As part of the National Stargazing Days, the Amsterdam Public Observatory (Volkssterrenwacht Amsterdam) is organizing a stargazing event at our campsite.

Starting at 7:30 PM, telescopes will be set up to explore the night sky. Weather permitting, you’ll have the chance to admire stunning sights such as the moon in its First Quarter, the planets Mars and Jupiter, and, with a bit of luck, even Uranus! Other highlights include star clusters and the breathtaking Orion Nebula.

To enhance the stargazing experience, the streetlights at the campsite will be turned off for the evening. And for those who need to warm up, our café will be open, offering a cozy atmosphere and refreshments by the fireplace.
